The fashion industry generates over 4% of the world’s waste each year amounting to about 92 million tons - a lot of which comes from the production process.

One way designers are attempting to tackle this problem is by following a circular fashion model where waste and pollution are designed out by keeping products and materials in use for as long as possible by reusing and recycling them. The ultimate goal is to have a system that leaves a minimal footprint on the environment.

At BISKIT, we create pieces in a way that is considerate of humanity and the environment, always reducing the impact wherever possible.

We believe that discarded materials and textiles in whatever form has value and can be reused or recycled into something entirely new.
